What does it mean if a guy says he may pick you up from a party (sounds doubtful he will) but completely agrees after you say your going to walk home with some boys? Jealous? Protective? What?

I would say he likes you but is too shy to show it as he doesn't seem to want you with other guys.
It probably means that he's shy, give him a chance to get to know you I bet he's just being protective
